Why This Site Exists
In 2019, I watched my best friend Jennifer navigate one of the most devastating experiences a family can face. Her mother had lived with poorly controlled Type 2 diabetes for years—and the complications had become severe. Two leg amputations. Constant hospital visits. The kind of suffering that changes everyone around it.
But what I also witnessed was extraordinary: Jennifer remodeled her entire home, arranged round-the-clock care, and gave her mother three meaningful final years while working full time. She fought for every moment.
That experience shaped everything for me. Because here’s what haunted me: What if her mother had access to continuous glucose monitoring earlier? What if the signs had been caught before the damage was done?
I couldn’t go back in time for Jennifer’s mom. But I could make sure other seniors don’t face those same complications because Medicare paperwork defeated them.
That’s why I built Senior CGM Support.

Who I Am
I’m not a blogger who Googled “diabetes” and started writing. I’ve spent over 10 years working in the durable medical equipment industry, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at One Health Direct LLC—a company that has helped more than 12,000 Medicare patients access continuous glucose monitors.
I know Medicare CGM coverage inside and out—not because I read about it, but because I’ve spent a decade navigating it professionally.
